Automatically picks colors from an image instead of choosing them manually.

This kind of color is useful to:
|
|
|
•have graphical results even without great drawing skills |

Currently only jpg and png images are available.
|
If there is no image in Black Ink, click on the color preview area.
|

The file open window dialogue appears.
Choose a picture on your computer and click open.

Replace your existing image by another
|

If there is already a loaded image you have to open the image-based color editor.
Click on the color preview area again or click on the arrow to unfold its editor.

In the unfolded editor click on

The window file open dialogue appears and you can change your picture by another one.
|
Recall an image set in the favorites

Over the color parameters and the menu unfolds.
Click to select your favorite image.
|
|

Your image isn't found
|
|
Sometimes a favorite image has been moved or deleted from the initial directory.
"File not found" is shown in preview.
|
Click the open file icon to check your computer manually.
|

|
|
Click on the arrow near the image name to expand the edition module and transform your current image.
|
|
▪The left part informs about displacement, rotation and scale (uniform or non-uniform). You can also enter values using the keyboard.
▪On the right side, the canvas is represented by a blue frame. You can directly transform your image in it. |

Just click again on the elements used to deploy the interface.
If you click it again, the interface will unfold as it was before being compacted.

The image is adjusted to enter globally into the canvas either in its height or its length.

The same image multiplies itself to cover the canvas.

The image is flipped in the first case horizontally and for the second case vertically.

The image rotates at 90° to the left or to the right.

It isn't used by your brush or your eyedropper.
